What Is the Pass Plus Course?
Pass Plus is a practical course developed by the DVSA for new drivers. It’s usually completed in 6 hours, and there’s no exam at the end. Instead, your instructor assesses your progress throughout the course.
The course includes six key modules:
Town driving — handling traffic, pedestrians, and complex junctions
All-weather driving — driving safely in rain, fog, snow or ice
Rural roads — navigating bends, animals, and uneven surfaces
Night driving — dealing with limited visibility and glare
Dual carriageways — higher speeds and overtaking safely
Motorways — entering, exiting, and lane discipline
